Laugh as You may... All the Websites have seen they want You to do all these Neat Things... Make You Lots of Money... but they don't Realize most Newbies... even Old Timers don't know the Trick to Cut and Paste! Well Please Read this if don't know how. Step1 To Cut... Your Not Actually Cutting... Your Actually Merely Clicking on what want to Save... When Ready Click Your Left Button on Mouse where want to begin... Hold the Button will Notice it starts Highlighting Keep Holding till it Highlights the Thing You want to Save... When see this and Happy let go of Mouse Button... Will See Highlights it... this is Step 1 Step2 Here is a Trick even Microsoft doesn't Teach You... Ever wonder what Your Right Mouse Button is?... Well if Click it anywhere away from Highlighted Area but also away from anything else... A Box Opens and will See All the Options You can do! will see Cut... Copy...Paste Check it out! Has other Neat things can do also... So Learn what You can do with them... and share this Trick with Others too. Voila Magic Your Computer now Opens to All the Neat Features... [ Just Remember Your Left Button takes You through things... its the "Yes I want to Do this Button... Whereas the Right Button is Ok what can I do here Button! ] Ok Now we have Step2 if see the Copy button Click it instead of Cut... Unless want to Move something then You'd Cut it... I say Click Copy because if making Notes to Yourself or want to Copy something so as to Save Fingers from Typing You now can... now Left Click and do the Copy *(If Your not seeing any Otions or what can do things Don't Panic... its just the Right button or Program doesn't allow You to use Right Button Features... So Now Look Up Very Top of Program have Opened doing this in... See How it says...File...Edit...View etc Find it and will Give You a Tip to Remember it This is the Menu Bar or as I like to Refer to it as... Your in a Restaurant... Gee whats on the Menu to Eat Bar... and You if Open the Different Ones to See them Open... You will see a Whole Buffet Line of Neat Things can have or Use to Work with. ... Now You should see the Edit Button... Open it and do a Copy...] then Move onto Next Step!... Step2 Now Look Lower Lower Left of Your Computer Screen... Go to Your Start Button Click it...it Opens! Now Look on that List Click on Programs... Look on that Long List Up to Top and now Open Accessories... then Look for Your Note Pad Icon Looks like a Notepad! Open it. Now Your ready to Finish Step 2 which is to Either Right Click Mouse Button in that Big Empty Box and do a Paste... or Go back Up to Your Menu Bar in Note Pad into Edit and again when Opens do a Paste... Voila the Saved thing now Should Appear Now its Time to Save Your Item or Create a New Folder Now its time to Save Your Item Step 3 (You can by the Way use anything You want Notepad is just an Example if Your Item is to Big it will Tell You... it has to use Other Programs such as Wordpad... So Relax Be Cool! and just say Ok Cool... I Can Do This! and works again any Program with Menu Bar Edit. or in the Next Case File then Save on the Menu Bar) Ok My Advice here is Always Practice Putting Your Saved Stuff in Specific Folders You Create as Going! and Never just do a Save but instead do a Save As that way You Put it where You want it Now where Your Computer thinks You want it... Your Computer is like a Big Kid who will Throw their Toys all over the Place! So be Forewarned To do a SaveAs Don't be Intimitated...when Big Box Opens Look will See All Your Folders in Big Box and will See just above a Little Box... Notice the Little One says Like My Documents... DeskTop... C: whatever... this is the Last Folder You had Opened and is why said will throw things anywhere because if don't watch where going You can Crash Your Computer by putting it in Wrong Place! Now in the Little Box Area next to Name... will See a Little Down Arrow... Click it will Open and Shows You the whole list of Your Computer... Wow! theres the Desktop the A: drive Look C:drive... Now Double Click on the C: it will Now Open and can see All Your Folders... Pretty Cool Huh? Ok anywhere in Bigbox Open Area Only! Right Click in it... Opens Look for... New... Click it Opens... You will see Folders... Click Folders... and Name it what You want to... Try Naming it... My Notes...[or Program Name Downloading] then Double click it when see it Appear... Ok now it Jumps up and will See Now the Big Box is Empty and Voila You see in Little Box... C:\My Notes or [C:\Name of Program Downloading] Now isn't this Cool?... [if opening an existing Program already downloaded then Make sure it is like showing Little Box [C:\ProgramAlready Downloaded]... in Big Box click anywhere Open Space and Right click again to Create a New Folder once again but Name it like Upgrade 1 2 or whatever Double click it so in Little box says C:\Upgrade1 just so long as is right folder name then save it ] Neat You now know where Your Saved item will go... Ok now where says... FileName... put what is the Name of the Thing want to Save... try Notes001 that way You can additionally add say 99 more under it... now just hit Your Save Button and it will be Saved in the Folder You Created...Under the Name You wanted... Plus with the Name You wanted... Now Your Like way Kewl and on Your Way to Having an Organized Computer... where Know where to get Things. Now that Know how to Cut Paste Make a Folder Do a Save As... [Guess what if Apply All of these things... You Now Know how to Download too...] its Merely doing a SaveAs... So Have Fun! Just Always Remember a Computer is Only as Smart as the Person Using it... Always Do a SaveAs so can Tell Your Computer what Folder You want it in and Also Name the File so can always know what it is |
